Report Finds Many Teens Sext, but Fear Not, James Lipton Is Here

When we were youngsters, it took some cunning to glimpse real-life nudity (Dad's dirty magazines don't count). But as with many things, technology came along and changed everything. Now, kids are 'sexting,' or sending provocative images, to each other; much easier than sneaking off behind the gym during class with your high-school sweetheart. Teens can sext anytime and anywhere, and according to a recent poll, they do just that -- probably more often than parents would like to think.

According to an Associated Press report on Huffington Post, more than 25-percent of teens surveyed admitted to sexting at some time. Here's the more frightening part: Nearly half of those who said they've sexted also said they didn't really see anything wrong with the practice, despite some teens recently facing harsh punishment for it. So much for being scared straight.

Is there any hope for our cell phone-equipped, hormonal teens? If James Lipton has his way, yes. The host of 'Inside The Actors Studio' recently filmed a hilarious commercial for LG, which we found on Mashable, that encourages teens to not text pictures of their "junk." His advice? "Before you text, give it a ponder," Lipton says, while rubbing his perfectly groomed beard.

But there's one problem, James. Most teenagers don't have an epic beard to help them make the right decision. Trust us, that scraggly thing we had growing on our faces at 16 didn't help one bit. [From: the Associated Press on Huffington Post and Mashable]

I wonder if the #mets realize they can't save the excess runs to use in a later game.
