Photographing the Real World Internet, Why the iPhone 'Feels' Right

There's a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can't cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.
  • An article in the latest issue of Wired magazine documents the real-world path of the bits that make up the Internet, dropping by such locales as Grover Beach, CA (transoceanic cable) and Halifax, Canada (submarine cable). [From: Andrew Blum]
  • The iPhone still reigns supreme in terms of feel, even though Android may have better Google integration and customization. We can't put our finger on (no pun intended) just why, but analyzing Apple's mobile OS through principles of animation from Disney workers might help explain why. [From: blackrimglasses]
  • Britain's Royal Society recently launched the Trailblazing site, documenting over 60,000 articles published by the Society over the past three centuries. [From: Trailblazing, via: Reuters]
