The spread of power, USB, ethernet, Firewire, HDMI, audio, and myriad other cables doesn't seem like it will be slowing down anytime soon. Wireless charging systems still haven't taken off, so cable management in the home and workplace is a very real issue. Of course, bloggers post daily on the best cable practices, and a veritable cable-management industry has popped up in the interest of easing your ethernet tangles.

You could spend hundreds on clips and cord ties, but a bit of Boy Scout know-how will keep your wires untangled and ready for storage.
