Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.

And I thought I wanted to hug Johan last week. I think I'm officially in love.

WTF is wrong with you people, have you never taken a personal call at work? What is your home page? bet it is not work related, what if that is the next cause for a firing? Oh no, someone seen me reading that newspaper in the lobby, will I loose my job over that? Where does it end?

At our work, our computers are used for work, I know, novel idea. Our homepage is our company website. Personal sites are blocked, we can't access them. We are not allowed to have our cellphones at our desk. We are paid by the company to work for the company, not to do personal items. We have lunch hours and breaks during the day when we can do personal things. We are allowed to take breaks if we need to take personal calls, but after one of our dispatchers downloaded an instant messenger on a computer and infected the network with 57 viruses in one day, it was deemed that we should be paid to work, not play. To quote the Eagles "you don't want to work, want to live like a king - the big bad world doesn't owe you a thing." I respect my employer enough to work at work and keep my personal life personal. She didn't even know my husband until last week and I've worked there two years. There is no reason to combine the two. People who feel they need to take advantage of their employer by having them pay them to have a personal life at work are the reason we are in a recession right now.
