North Korea Home to Lamest Arcade in the World

The photos depict a depressingly sterile, outdated, and lonely video game arcade. The room, which looks like a lounge in a psychiatric hospital, has no invigorating neon lights, strobes, bells, or whistles. Most of the games also appear to be at least a decade old, but the knockoff of the classic Midway submarine game 'Sea Raider,' complete with periscope, does look like it might be entertaining, if it's operational.
At this rate, North Korea should be able to catch up to the awesome U.S. arcades of the '80s (like 'Diamond Jim's' and 'Aladdin's Castle') in about 30 years, unless the kids, geeks, and nerds create a united front and revolt against the arcade oppression. Let them play! Let them play! [From: UK Resistance via Boing Boing]

Actually, those look remarkably similar to the arcade games I found in our car on the Amtrak Coast Starlight. Clearly they were 'hardened' to put up with the rough life on the rails, and all the CRTs looked like they were about to go BANG anyway.
