The primary reason the Luddites hated and destroyed technology was because they thought it was threatening their jobs, not because they wanted to keep some loser. For that matter, a lot of people who hate technology today just don't understand it. It's done so many positive things for the world. Now, relatively, Twitter is not one of them, but who gives a byte if someone wants to microblog and whatever. It's not harming anything. It is annoying when somebody is an avid Twitterer and that's all they do all day. If she were like that, I'd give her the ol' ultimatum.
