It won't work because it is not cost effective. Toddlers? At $150 smackers for a pair of shoes they'll out grow in 3 months? Please. What will the fee for satellite hook-up be? And what about the "discovery" service you'll need to call to find out where the shoes are... or where they have been?

This sounds like an expensive gadget which has very limited legitimate uses.
