Best of the Rest: Unseen Video Game Victims, NYTimes Loves 'Epic Fail'

There's a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can't cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.
  • For every goomba you stomp, auto you 'Grand Theft,' and building you 'Rampage,' thousands of digital, imaginary lives are ruined. Cracked.com measures the collateral damage that video games never show. [Cracked.com]
  • Abe gets a face-lift with geeky, pop-cultured inspired doodlings on the dollar bill. Who knew John Adams could look so good in drag? [Geekologie]
  • We're sorry Dave, but we're afraid you can't throw paper in with plastic. A sentient city, complete with a bench that tips the user if he or she sits too long and energy aware plants, is definitely anxiety-inducing. [BBC.co.uk]
  • Oh, Gawker, making fun of all the media we love to hate. The gossip blog pointed out that The New York Times itself has taken to using "epic fail," showing even the most literary can be L33t. [Gawker]
