15 Tailgating Gadgets for Partying at the Game

While the action on the football field's always entertaining, it's the party outside the stadium that really counts. Like your favorite team, you'll need a game plan -- only to throw the perfect tailgate. There's plenty to consider, but don't worry. Switched is here to ensure that you have the ultimate setup this season.

1. Haier HLT71 7-inch Handheld LCD TV
Don't tell this versatile portable TV, which will plug into your car when its rechargeable battery is drained, that size matters. Plus, the built-in tuner means you won't need a separate antenna to watch games on its 4:3 or 16:9 screen.

2. EZ Grill
This 100-percent recyclable grill will roast dogs and burgers with little or no mess. And all you need is a match to get things started.

3. Stadium Pal Portable Urinal
No more waiting in long lines at the port-a-potty. Just slide one of these small plastic devices into your pants and experience instant relief. Then, discreetly throw away the disposable bag once it's full. Don't worry; it's an 'external' catheter, which you wear like a condom, according to the manufacturer. Ready to wait in that line instead? We thought so.

4. Myine Electronics IR001 WiFi Internet Radio Adapter
With this handy radio, all you need is the stadium's Internet connection (or the MiFi mobile hotspot which we will feature next). You'll have instant access to thousands of radio stations, including ESPN Radio. It's perfect for getting up-to-the-minute game coverage, and for those late nights when all the drunks want to hear some power ballads.

5. Sprint Mobile Hot Spot MiFi 2200
Even at a tailgate, you'll need access to the Web. Up to five devices can connect to the MiFi 3G, which creates a mobile hotspot using cell phone networks. All of your crew can check other scores or just kill time until the game starts.

6. Honda Handi Generator
You'll need something to power all your tailgating gadgets (or at least the ones that won't plug into your car's power supply). This small generator can run for more than four hours, thanks to its 1.56-gallon fuel tank. The attached handle and wheels will allow you to stumble away with it, even after drinking a case of beer.

7. Metallic Mini Fridge
This tiny fridge plugs right into your car's cigarette lighter. While it might not hold enough beer for a big party, it will hold a six-pack, so consider this the last-drink-of-the-night fridge.

8. Hitch-N-View
Want to bring that sweet LCD TV from the living room to the tailgate? If you have a truck, SUV, or any vehicle with an adapter for a trailer hitch, then you can rest assured. Hitch-N-View will anchor that bad boy in place.

9. Portable Popcorn Popper
Not only can this device make a batch of popcorn, but it can also heat up canned soup for those cold, snowy, wintertime tailgates. It comes with an adapter that'll plug right into your car's cigarette lighter.

10. Vapolution Vaporizer
Sure to be a hit at tailgates in Boulder, Colorado, this glass vaporizer will guarantee there'll be no food left when the day ends. Plus, it has a rechargeable battery that lasts around two hours -- plenty of time to....

11. Thermo Sport Fridge/Cooler/Radio
This cooler will hold your iPod in one compartment and your beer in another. It plugs into the car and has a smooth, spill-proof nylon exterior, just in case you pass out and need a pillow.

12. WaveBox Mobile Microwave

If you're too lazy to grill, well, you probably shouldn't be at a tailgate. But you could just pop those wieners into this portable microwave, which runs on 12-volt DC power. Although they won't taste nearly as good.

13. Instant Beer Cooler
For emergency use only, this battery-powered device will chill a beer in just 60 seconds. This could prevent those tailgate debacles when only hot beers remain and someone wants to use the funnel.

14. Portable Pizza Oven
Pizza isn't a typical tailgate food, but that's only a matter of convenience. This device kicks convenience in the butt and makes a personal-pan pizza an option at any game.

15. Beer Pong Table
When we tailgated in college, folks just drank. Now, these whippersnappers play games while they drink. These aluminum tables will give you instant cred with the youngsters.
