Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.

Kris, this is coming from an older generation, why can't we be on facebook. I have found friends all the way from elementary school. family members that I only get to see at family reunions/ have joined groups that leave updates... Its not just for Teens. Its a social Network.your generation already has way more than ours ever did....Let us have the facebook

Why? Are you under the general young brained thought process that believes that your parents will not find out that you are doing things that everyother teenager in the world is doing? Parents are a lot smarter then you! We have been around a lot longer then you, and the things that you are doing now are probably what your parents did when they were younger and also most likely the reason that you exist in the first place! Not to mention the fact that if you are doing something that you are embarrassed about someone finding out about, then you have 2 options. One, don't do it in the first place and two, what ever you do DON'T post it on the internet!!

Dear Kris!
Just because we are the "older generation" doesn't mean we all have blue hair and sit on the couch and crochet. We do have friends and we do socialize. I can't wait til you are of the "older generation" and have teens that apparantly think you are creepy. We'll see what you do with your spare time. ---BTW, it's the "older generation" that created and invented the internet and sites like MySpace and Facebook...

Dear Kris-
FYI-Not everyone of the "older generation" has blue hair, eats dinner at 4pm, or spends their free time sitting on the couch knitting. We actually do have lives and friends outside of our children and like connecting with them on a social basis. BTW, it's the "older generation" that created the internet and sites like MySpace and Facebook, or you wouldn't even have them to play on. And-my kids' friends would probably think I was creepy if I DIDN'T have a social life and did nothing but clean toilets and knit socks. I actually think that it's creepy that you would rather have your parents be like that. So Kris, why don't you and your little friends of the "younger generation" go outside and play on the playground like good little children and leave Facebook to the cool ones--"the Older Generation"...

So Kris, you and all your friends are going to close your Facebook/Myspace accounts when you get old, right? Cuz you guys would be too old to socialize and we dont want that! You do know you dont have to accept a friendship request, then you wouldnt have anything to worry about!

As a teenager who *appreciates* the 'older generation' keeping up to date with technology, and personally seeing how beneficial it is (I now know more family members than I did before my parents started touching base with their cousins/aunts/uncles/etc.), I really do find your comment to be arrogant, selfish, and implying a stereotype, because you are basically making the claim that once you're at the age of having children or spotting gray hairs, you are not entitled to the benefits that technology has to offer. That is not fair, at all.
And as a teenager, I'm not stupid; I can *guarantee* you are posting things on Facebook/MySpace that you rather your parents not know of; I never had to be in that situation because my parents (especially my mother) are the 'cool parents'. That's what private messages and instant-messaging are for, Kris.
I most certainly hope that in the future, you never turn around and make claims of what people are entitled to/not entitled to solely on the fact that they are of a certain 'generation', because then *you* shouldn't be entitled to the luxuries that your 'older generation' parents give you with the money they make by taking their 'old generation' selves to work.

Kris, you sound much too immature for facebook. Go play with your jacks, dear.

Oh Kris get over it! I got a facebook BEFORE my kids did (they are grown) and we respect each other's privacy. I don't go posting all over their page and they don't on mine.. Just cuz I'm "older" doesn't mean I dont have a LIFE! Grow up a little bit and don't do things you're ashamed of and then you won't have to worry who knows your business.

Oh Kris... spoken like an immature little boy.
I think adults should be on Facebook it does make keeping in touch easier and finding past school mates, and there is NOTHING wrong with being friends with family members on Facebook. I do think its wrong though for parents to use it as a stalking tool to find out every little thing their kids are doing. Sometimes its best to keep each other on a need to know basis.

How about this:
You "older generation" (as some would put it) folk quit harassing our lives and our friends with your beliefs... It's our life and our friends and we picked them for a reason... You could easily alienate them from us by reprimanding them.
We form our lives and you formed yours... Your opinions are duly noted.
