Sarah Palin-Signed Xbox 360 Hits eBay for $1.1M

According to the Huffington Post, an Xbox 360 purportedly autographed by the former Republican Vice Presidential candidate and ex-governor of Alaska was recently re-posted for auction on eBay, at a starting price of $1.1 million. As of Wednesday morning, there were no bids on the item, but fear not, gaming millionaires, you still have about eight days before bidding closes. The proud owner of the system reportedly, and understandably, had difficulty parting with it, and faced several problems listing it, as well. There are also some questions about the legitimacy of the signature itself. The description, as posted by the lister, is as follows:
That the Xbox actually goes for the asking price, or any price, is probably unlikely, especially given the signature's nebulous authenticity. We do, though, kinda hope it does. Given the fiercely polemic reactions that Palin can evoke, there's a chance some affluent political junkie could find pretty entertaining uses for it. [From: Huffington Post]

hello ascaOct 7th 2009 2:40PM
the guy is a moron even if it was signed by some video game industry bigwig with ties to the Xbox/360 it wouldn't be worth that much

I would have rather spent $70,000 for the lunch with Palin. Cheaper and I get to meet her.

The listing is gone. But I am curious to see if someone will throw that kind of money on something like that just because of a signature. But then, again, there is a sucker every second

Ebay has already pulled it from auction, can't prove signature is real.

If I had a million dollars I would not spend it on a autographed XBOX by Sarah Palin. I love video games but I think that is a waste of money even if the signature is authentic. This may be a part of history but way too expensive to be part of it. I guess he didn't want to part with his XBOX360.
