Hacked Big Mouth Billy Bass Sings Anything You Tweet

10 years ago, Big Mouth Billy Bass was a huge superstar. People just couldn't get enough of the scaly singer belting out Bobby McFerrin and the Talking Heads, but today, hordes of silent Billys live unappreciated in garages and flea markets everywhere.

Despite Billy's fall from glory, some mechanical bass masters are giving him another 15 minutes of fame. The mbed gang has hacked Billy and altered his brain with implanted SD cards and "microcontrollers" so that the little guy can say and sing just about anything, even Homer Simpson catch phrases.

The Billy groupies weren't content with some mere upgrades, though, and they have now synced Billy with Twitter's mbedbicro so he can actually say anything you tweet. So, check out mbed's live Billy stream, start tweeting, and get in on the Billy comeback tour. [From: mbed via Urlesque]
