Some children are not blessed with a doting, sweet Granny. This little girl needs to learn to count her blessings and quit being a spoiled brat. She probably just wanted to buy some video game or add text messages to her cell phone and granny told her to go outside and play and get some exercise and learn the art of communicating instead of texting your friends. This child is being a child not a brat! First she could have done worst (kill the grandmother), second no one would have really taken the lady in. Third she was being a KID and will have a great story to tell her grandkids. Kids at 10 dont know old people, they dont understand the noises they make, or why they are cranky. My kid at 15 wants nothing to do with his elder grandparents because they are no fun. Its people like " Greg" that shouldnt have kids. I would hate to see what would happen when they failed at school, or came home with someone elses animals because they thought it was cute, or how about pinches a girls butt in Kindergarten. People you all need to ease up a little. Life goes way too fast besides I know for a fact my 15 never less my 8 year doesnt have my ebay account information ~ what was a 10 year old doing on a computer without a parent??? How did they access an ebay account?? Think a little more about the story ~ it was probably a prank from an adult to make a headline!!

carrie

Comments on

If you were the grandmother you wouldn't find it funny at all. There is too much involved in listing items on ebay for a 10 year old to do without the help of an adult. Who gave her the account information? Looks more like a "joke" to me. Did the grandmother baked for her grandchild. Baking should be a mandatory thing for grandparents and it should be illegal if they do not. I hope she got a spanking hard enough she had trouble sitting for a week. However, I have great doubts about that. The child is probably never disclipined. But, then this shouldn't surprise me. Up until about 2 years ago I owned a store that specialized in Thomas the Tank Engine. It would take me all day to describe the spoiled brats, juvenile delinquents and disrespectful kids that came into that place. And I can tell you 99% of the time it's the parents' fault. They exercised NO authority or control over the children. The kids had all the power in the family. You'd be shocked at how many parents are afraid to say no to children or even upset them. I had parents who BEGGED the child to be allowed to buy it something, the kid didn't want anything. The worst was when I had a 4 year old girl HIT her grandmother because she wanted this one particular toy. Now the grandmother had ALREADY spent over a hundred dollars on the two grandchildren. I didn't care what anyone thought, I yelled at that kid. I also taught please and thank-you at my store. The overhead train could not run unless they said the magic word - please. Also, whenever an adult bought a child something I told the child to say thank-you. You'd be shocked at how many kids looked at me like I had 3 heads. However, most did it and the parents were SO grateful. So you see, it just takes adults in this world TEACHING children these things. But in today's society, NO adults do this, especially parents who are SUPPOSE to be the ones doing it. So, back to the story.....I blame this complete lack of respect on the parents. I hope they got a real eye-opener when they found out about this, if they did. If I had EVER shown disrespect to any of my older relatives when I was young I can't even imagine what my punishment would have been. When I was a child in the 60s children never thought of disrespecting the elderly like this, this is what has become of our society. Rather said don't you think.

pdgrovebaskets

Comments on

27 bids!!! gitty up, I would take that as a complement.

Jimi
