Comments on the Lisa are misleading as well - expensive and sluggish it may have been in its first release, but it invented what we now know as the Macintosh user interface (pull-down menus, scroll bars, the Finder desktop, etc.) and might have prospered along with the Mac were it not for infighting within Apple.
