For weeks now, we've more or less known that the Wii was getting a price cut, but Nintendo had been playing coy. Coy no longer, though, the House That Mario Built has officially confirmed the $50 price cut to take effect this upcoming Sunday.

Is this thing like the Wii controller? If it is, for PS3, I can only imagine what it would be like to play God of War III with this thing. Build up that sword arm!

I think Sony is going to see how much the GoW remakes sell before making any decisions. If it sells like crazy, then I think we should all be prepared to see more high-def remakes of the big titles.
