Yes. But what do we learn from this? As bad as the Bush gang turned out to be, it was bound to be better than the alternatives -- Gore or Kerry. And yet, instead of learning from their experiences, what did the voting majority give us last year? A choice between dumb and dumber times TEN. McCain -- arguably the worst of the Republican line up -- and Barack HUSSEIN Obama, whose ultimate goal is to reduce the USA to equal status to third world countries. Right now, one of his foremost priorities is to bring about nuclear disarmament in the world, and right now, as we speak, he's meeting with non other than the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, to discuss this pressing matter. Yep! BHO thinks sitting down and talking with impoverished third world Africa countries is the key to keeping Iran from getting nuclear weapons! We've gone from the well-intended, but culturally ignorant, to the utterly incompetent. Shame on the voting public for being so naive.

ILCAPO

Comments on Donald Rumsfeld Mixes Up Internet and Muppets, Book Reveals

ILCAPO said 4:56PM on 9-24-2009
"ydaleu...... Yes. But what do we learn from this? As bad as the Bush gang turned out to be, it was bound to be better than the alternatives -- Gore or Kerry" But there were other alternatives. For example, in 1992, 1996 & 2000 Pat Buchanan ran for president. He was against NAFTA, against unrestricted immigration, against unlimited abortion, and he was concerned about what he called, "The culture wars." The funny thing is, most Bush supporters are/were concerned about these very issues. They voted for Bush, look what they got: More jobs going over seas, more immigration from Mexico (Bush called the Minutemen, vigilantes), no restrictions on abortion, and a further decline in our culture. Remember when Rush Limbaugh made fun of Buchanan, prior to the 2000 election? But they love The Fat One in the "heartland." They remind me of that fraternity pledge in Animal House: Thank you, Sir, may I have another?

weathwoods

Comments on Donald Rumsfeld Mixes Up Internet and Muppets, Book Reveals

ILCAPO said 4:56PM on 9-24-2009
"ydaleu......
