Microsoft Courier: the Ultimate Tablet?
With touchscreens becoming all the more common in gadgets, we're expecting some game-changers to appear in the next few years. One of those could be Microsoft's Courier, a notepad-looking device that offers dual touchscreens and folds in the middle like a book.

Mac Portable Dissected for 20th Anniversary
It's been twenty years since Apple released its first portable computer -- a $6,500 beast that sported 1 megabyte of memory and a whopping 40 megabytes of storage (about enough for six MP3s). In honor of the anniversary, one collector beautifully photographed a pristine example -- and then ripped the thing to shreds.

Google Adds Support for Push Gmail
With Google Sync, googling smartphone users have been able to use Google's helpful Contacts and Calendar services, but haven't had access to the one service everybody really wants: Gmail. Google has finally added that feature to Sync, but only in its iPhone and Windows Mobile versions.

Some robots are cute, and some are helpful, but few offer a better combination of the two than Wall-E. This version is slightly low-rent -- made of paper -- but that doesn't stop him from doing an adorable little dance whenever an e-mail is received.
