What gadgets do you always bring with you?
My iPod. And I load it up with music that inspires whatever character I'm playing. Currently, that's zydeco and Aretha Franklin.
What cell phone do you have right now and what do you love/hate about it?
According to my husband, I have the first cell phone ever designed. I love that I got it "for a price." I hate that it weighs about five pounds more than anyone else's and has an antenna.
Who's the last person you sent a text message to and what was it about?
My husband. I was complaining that he spends too much time texting.
Where do you go every time you get online?
Statcounter.com to check to see if my children's books are selling.
What annoys you most about your iPod, cell phone, or laptop?
They're designed to fall apart three days before your warranty expires.
Name one thing you wish your iPod, cellphone or laptop could do that it doesn't do now?
I wish my cell phone worked internationally... I guess I'll have to get a bigger antennae.
What upcoming gadget can you not wait to get your hands on?
The Chevy Volt.
You're stranded on a desert island: What gadget do you bring?
The Kindle... I'd die without good books.
What's the most-played song or artist on your iPod?
"Into The Mystic" by Van Morrison and "Heart of The Matter" by India Arie. I work myself into an emotional frenzy listening to these songs over and over again.
What's the longest time you've ever spent playing a video game in one sitting and what game was it?
Zero seconds. I've never played a game.
Mac or PC?
PC.
What's the most embarrassing or untrue thing anyone has ever said about you online?
I'm not a glutton for punishment; I never google myself, so I really don't know. And don't tell me, please.
Do you have an HDTV? If so, what kind and how big is it? What's your favorite show to watch in HD?
No, we prefer the TV where you can't count someone's nose hairs.
iPhone, Palm Pre, or BlackBerry?
iPhone. It's more user-friendly.
Where's the most embarrassing place your cell phone has gone off?
Yoga class... during the meditation period. Having to take the walk of shame to go turn it off, with all the enlightened yogis shooting daggers at me, was brutal.
