Here's one of the greatest baseball promo incidents to come along in years and they clamp a lid on it.  They should be PAYING to have it spread around as much as possible.  Yes, they technically own the rights to it.  This doesn't mean they're REQUIRED to restrict the distribution, it just means they have the RIGHT to restrict it.  They do not HAVE to exercise that right. It is a HUGE promo opportunity, FOR THEM. They will get as much mileage out of this as they can. Allowing any one else will dilute the 'branding' of the moment. Selfish? Yup. But that's what Corporo-fascism is all about.
