Bon Jovi Weighs in on Cobain 'Guitar Hero' Fiasco, Phone Calls on Twitter?

Highlights from this morning's other big tech headlines....
- Along with the rest of the country that fondly remembers the nineties, Bon Jovi said that he thinks the controversy of playing Kurt Cobain on the new 'Guitar Hero' seems "a little forced." He's right. Though the Jov-ster himself also declined to appear, it would be hilarious to make the Jersey rocker belt out a few Danzig songs, now and again. [From: BBC.co.uk]
- JaJah, a VOIP company, is launching a beta program tomorrow that offers a free call between any account holders via Twitter. Users simply enter (into Twitter) "@call @Twittername," initiating a free two-minute call. If the requested tweeter is a follower, JaJah dials them up. If the linkage between micro-blogging and VOIP sustains itself, this could be huge. [From: The Next Web]
- Microsoft's Bing reportedly snatched 10-percent of the search market (Google still leads), which is rather impressive for such a young engine. [From: cnet]
- Friendly no more, it appears that Joltid, the company created by Skype's founders, is officially suing eBay for copyright infringement. After acquiring Skype in 2005, eBay allegedly altered and shared the source code (which was still owned by its original creators). [From: NYTimes.com]
- Landing on iPhones (and iPod touches) on September 24th, the new Guinness app is perhaps the creamiest and most delicious iPhone app yet. Pint drinking assistance includes a ruler for the perfect amount of foam on the pour, and a locator to find pubs that provide the iconic Irish ale. Don't forget to ping your friends before the glass settles. [From: Download Squad]
