Optical Illusion: 'Four Perfectly Round Circles'

Counting down to quittin' time on a Friday can grow mind-numbing when you have only the whole of human knowledge at your fingertips. To help inject a little frivolity -- and break up those end-of-the-week doldrums -- we bring you a favorite Switched pastime: getting those synapses and neural circuits firing with an awesome optical illusion.

Although this latest offering may not be quite as mystifying or mind-blowing as the rotating naked lady, the Ames' window, or the curveball demonstration, 'Four Perfectly Round Circles' has already received almost 5,000 diggs. It may appear to be a small circle surrounded by a spiraling line, but the image actually depicts four circles, which, if you trace their outlines, are indeed perfectly round and do not interlock.

Since this is just one (albeit impressive) illusion, in order to help you while away the day until the clock finally reaches 5, we'll remind you of our 'Top 25 Optical Illusions on the Web.' And don't worry about someone catching you slacking off. Not even your boss will be able to peel his eyes away from this compilation of deceptive optical trickery. [From: Comedy Central]
