As a police officer I can tell you some of the things I see from day to day would give you nightmares trust me, I get them sometimes. My wife is my support she is what keeps me together day in and day out. If I found unappropiate messages between my wife and someone else I might loose it to.

Many guys I know that arn't cops but construction workers, bankers, computer techs, etc. would probably do exactly what this cop did.

Am I for what he did? Everyone's job is. What is of concern, however, is that police and district attorneys seem to think that every member of the criminal justice system is somehow above the law. What this often translates to is the police driving around, sirens blaring, indiscriminately beating the crap out of & killing people. Later on, in court, when it comes time for prosecution, because as you say - "cops are people too"... oh, what's this? There's "not enough evidence" to convict a police officer for any wrongdoing in really any case but the most insane, and the ones that are the most in the media spotlight. Stuff like this happens all the time, and I don't even need to explain it because you know exactly what I'm talking about. It is a common perspective among DA's that "we don't prosecute police officers, we prosecute criminals". That's the problem people have with police officers, Mr. Hunter. Well, that and the fact that police are the biggest a-holes on the planet.

I can relate to the Cop in every way. I'd do the same as the Cop ! The wife is to blame for this...why should her husband be forced to choose? Our society is messed up. Women are cheating on their spouses in record numbers. Soldiers go to war and come back to a woman that has broken her vows of marriage while our soldiers have been fighting for freedoms. Women need to wake up ! Life is not always about screwing !
