New USB Mouth Camera Opens Up a Whole New World of TMI

The Internet may promote massive oversharing (spawning such acronyms as TMI), but doctors and dentists have had to deal with the uncomfortable, and disgusting, phenomenon since the days of Hippocrates and his eponymous oath. From cocktail parties to sporting events, physicians and oral surgeons are never safe from the "Hey, you mind taking a look at this?" guy.

Thanks to Thanko, no one is safe from that inappropriate nastiness anymore. According to Gizmodo, the company has created a USB microscope mouth camera. Great. Orally-fixated people everywhere can now take pictures of the ravages of germs and bacteria in their filthy maws, and then share those disturbing images with their friends and family. "Look at this thing that's caught in my braces! I can't figure out what it is!" Ugh. Whatever dentists are earning these days, it probably isn't enough. [From: Gizmodo]
