Top Fives Tunes About Twitter

Believe it or not, there aren't just a handful of songs about Twitter out there. There are enough little ditties about the micro-blogging service in circulation that Mashable actually had to trim it down to a top five.

None of the songs are exactly groundbreaking (some are downright dreadful), which makes us wonder how terrible the ones that didn't make the top five are. Ben Walker's 'The Twitter Song' (not to be confused with the three other entries also titled 'The Twitter Song') might not make it to the top of the Billboard Singles Chart anytime soon, but it is an impressive effort for a song about sending 140 character messages. The multi-tracked vocals, catchy melody, and capably-played guitar make this the most professional sounding of the bunch. Check it out above.
