Robocna: Robot With an iPhone Head
Kondo robots have received worldwide media attention, including coverage of gladiator-style Kondo robo-battles to the death. Perhaps in an effort to deter a future rebellion of those battle-hardened Kondo-Bots against their human enslavers, a group of crazy re-animators have decapitated a KHR-2HV model and replaced its plotting, hateful dome with a harmless iPhone.
Some of the new benefits of "Robocna" that the designers mentioned include a squealing "Wake You UP!," alarm clock, a variety of eerie animated facial expressions, the hilarious ability to awkwardly "Dance! Dance!", and the call-and-response "Teaching and Playback." Judging from the video, the little guy can also clasp objects and then flail around wildly with them, or basically act like a robo-baby in the midst of a temper tantrum.
The video is definitely entertaining, but make sure to check the volume before the psychotic, seizure-inducing music annoys your boss and co-workers. [From: Gizmodo]
