Best In-Game Sex Scene of 2009? Four-Way in 'Overlord II'

Sex in video games is generally either awkward or wildly inappropriate -- and almost always good for a laugh. Games haven't quite gotten it in the erotic department: either it's busty women (which makes us gals feel weird) or grossly bizarre Easter eggs, like in 'Grand Theft Auto.' Also, everything else in games is dictated by the controller, but when it comes to romancin' it's rarely controlled by the player -- and as Edge's Chris Dahlen points out, no one wants to control it anyway because pressing 'circles' and 'squares' to get freaky is fun for (almost) no one.

Still, it fascinates the average gamer, which leads Edge to proclaim the year's best videogame sex scene every year. 'Overlord II' takes the cake eight months into '09 with an evil four-way, stocked with double entendre about 'getting along so well.' Dahlen suggests that the best in-game fooling around happens off screen, and he gives the distinction to 'Overlord' for leaving the dirty stuff up to the imagination.

Three of your mistresses -- your gal-pal Kelda, the high-society Juno, and the supernatural Queen Fay -- vie for your attention, until they decide to split you (and themselves) evenly. Curtains close, minions peek in to proclaim, "You go Master!", and the castle's foundation rumbles as you, well, you get the picture. The video is safe for work (as safe for work as watching video game cut sequences in the office can be). Hey, not every workplace is Switched. [From: Edge via Joystiq]
