Vortex Cannon Shoots Clouds at 200MPH (Video)
No words that can describe the awesomosity (see, that wasn't even a real word!) of the video above. Just watch it. Again and again.
We have to thank the BBC pop science show, 'Bang Goes the Theory,' for creating this vortex cannon, which is powerful enough to succeed where the Big Bad Wolf failed. Using explosives, the cannon pushes air up to 200 MPH, knocking over just about anything in front of it. Unlike other vortex cannons we've seen, this one doesn't need smoke as a visual aid -- this beast is strong enough to compress the air and condense the moisture into a visible ring.
We're wondering if they'll loan it out so we can test it on some interns. [From: Oh Gizmo!]
