Overly Calm Spokeswoman Advertises Palm Pre
Tech ads have definitely taken a turn for the weird lately. In an attempt to go viral, Microsoft pushed its new Internet Explorer 8 with an ad prominently featuring vomit, and now Palm is advertising the Pre smartphone with a disturbingly calm spokeswoman who reminisces on just "going with the flow."

iPhone Running... Windows 95?
Lots of people wouldn't touch Windows 95 with a 10-foot pole, so it must take a special kind of geek to install one of the world's most infamous operating systems on an iPhone.


Nokia Announces Surge Smartphone on AT&T
Nokia's new social-network-centric Surge phone finally gets official in the states. The $79.99 smartphone comes with apps for easy Facebooking and Twittering, and a 2 megapixel camera. Expect it to land on July 19th.

HBO and Cinemax Come to Comcast's Online Service
Comcast's new On Demand Online service will be getting HBO and Cinemax content -- in addition to the previously announced Starz. Details are slim, but the online video will probably include a mix of television shows and full-length films.
