Live NFL Games Streaming Soon to Your iPhone

DirecTV's 'Supercast Mobile' iPhone app allows fans to stream live NFL games on Apple's mobile device via 3G and Wi-Fi. To use the app, of course you have to be a DirecTV subscriber. On top of that, you must pay $280 for the NFL Sunday Ticket Package and another $180 for the Sunday Ticket 'Superfan' pass. Games are also subject to local blackout restrictions, which means Packers fans in Green Bay are probably out of luck when it comes to using the app.
If you already get the NFL Sunday Ticket Package via DirecTV, this seems like a no-brainer. Otherwise, only the most hardened pigskin fans are going to lay down that much cold hard cash for mobile streaming football. That said, the app could redefine double fisting: beer in one hand, live football in the other. [From Business Insider]

Superfan is only $100 dollars. But with it I could watch games at work or now on my iPhone.

If you have a Slingbox or a buddy with a Slingbox outside
any blackout area, you can watch the game on that.
For example, the Slingbox App on Windows Media Player
works on WiFi or 3G and can connect to your buddy's slingbox
in Arkansas where a Chicgao NFL game is not being blocked.

I am so sick of Directv's Sunday Ticket monopoly.
