TiVo and Best Buy
This morning, Best Buy and TiVo announced a "broad partnership" that includes a strong TiVo retail push at stores nationwide. Per the announcement, TiVo and Best Buy are also developing a co-branded digital video recorder (DVR), and TiVo's software will be included in some of Best Buy's branded televisions.
Kindle 2 Price Cut
Amazon's Kindle 2 just got a bit more affordable. The online mega-retailer just hacked $60 off the price of the popular e-reader. It now retails for $299.
Watch Out, Booth Babes!
We've always thought being a 'booth babe' was a stable line of work, but a new technology from 3M and Epson may soon render those jobs obsolete. Using backlit, video-display technology and 0.3-mm-thin material, the talking spokesperson will repeat your pitch without ever getting tired. That said, the delivery's a little flat.
