Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.

I am retired ex-militaryt, an army ranger captain, so I've EARNED the right to speak my mind, AND THEN SOME!!!!! What the hell is wrong with this country?? We can't even feed our own veterans and homeless children, but were destroying other countries and taking caare of people who could give a hell less about us. Something is VERY wrong with this picture!!! WAKE UP AMERICA AND SMELL THE COFFEE, before it's too late, IF it isn't already........

As a ranger, as current military, or even ex-military, you have earned NO MORE rights than any of the rest of us. Sorry, we appreciate your service to this country but it doesn't give you any additional rights whatsoever. Many of us do a lot for our country every day in other ways and they get no additional rights either. If you don't like this government, then why did you protect it?
So, once and for all, moron, this happened IN CANADA.

Obviously you were an ARMY RANGER CAPTAIN, because you are an IDIOT, had you been an enlisted MARINE, you would have realized that this story is about CANADA and has nothing to do with government, but everything to do with A CHURCH IN CANADA!!! I agree, WAKE UP IDIOTS!

This is about a church in Canada giving moniters to people in Cameroon. Let's actually READ the article before we comment on it.

lolibell I pay taxes just like you. I was not an army ranger and did not go into other countries to destroy and rebuild like YOU did. Why your so bitter is beyond me. Question. Did you enlist or were you drafted? If drafted then I understand your bitterness. If you joined then you wanted to invade and destroy. So there. Happy Independence Day to ALL.
Notice I didn't tell you to shut up. The people that fought in the wars(probably) before you earned us this right we're using here. Freedom of Speach. Disagree but don't be a jerk.

You are an idiot aand a liar... if you had been a Captain you would have at least learned to spell and also learn what country you are not in.
Mostly you are a liar that is a big deal in your own eyes so go back to school and get an education.

lolibell, in our country, one does NOT need to serve in the military to have the right to speak one's mind. It's an inalienable right that we're all born with, according to both our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.
Although I'm appreciative of the sacrifices of the men who have fought in past wars to win our rights for us, I'm not willing to bow down to them or to current servicemen as superior beings who should have greater rights than those who have not served. That would be an affront to the ideals upon which this country was founded—the ideals that the original revolutionaries fought and died for.
By all means, speak your mind—it's your right as a human being, a right protected by the U.S. government—but be prepared for others to do the same. Your status as an ex-serviceman does not make you immune to criticism.
