SMS SOS: Text-Messaging's All-Time Most Stupid Moments

FUNNY FOIBLES:
Man Breaks Texting, Phone Bill Records

The Text
Philly resident Nick Andes tested the limits of unlimited texting plans when he and a friend fired off 217,000 messages between each other in a one-month period, shattering the previous world record of 182,000. Most of the communiqués were kept to a succinct, "LOL" or "hello."

The Turnabout
For stressing its network, T-Mobile hammered Andes with a $26,000 phone bill. Yowch! Fortunately, Andes eventually convinced T-Mo customer service to respect the definition of "unlimited."
