SMS SOS: Text-Messaging's All-Time Most Stupid Moments

Carjackers Go On Blind Date with Local Police
The Text
Earlier this year, Alan Heuss of Columbus, OH, was relieved of his BMW at gunpoint. When Heuss told friends of his misfortune, one suggested that they mess with the carjackers by sending an SMS to Heuss's phone (which was still in the stolen car) and pretend to offer Heuss a night of sweet drugs and women.
The Turnabout
The dimwitted thieves fell to temptation and actually responded with their address, then settled in for a special delivery. Instead, they got a visit from the Columbus P.D.
