The Text
In 2006, two crooks in ski masks broke into the Midvale, UT home of Jared and Cooper Colwell and stole the brothers' wallets and cell phones. Recognizing the voice of one of the perps, Jared later texted old friend and former houseguest Randall Talbot, saying, "Randy, I really want my phone back; I'll pay you $300."
The Turnabout
Talbot and his accomplice -- who apparently never watched 'Miami Vice,' 'Law and Order,' or any other cop show -- chomped the bait and met the Brothers Colwell to collect the ransom. They brought the phone, and the Colwells brought the Fuzz.
