Sony's NWZ-W202 Walkman headphones recalled
People like wearing headphones when they work out for obvious reasons, but what's the point if the earbuds can't keep up with your calorie-burning Wii Fit marathons? We've gotten news that Sony is recalling its NWZ-W202 Walkman headphones, which have been failing if they get too sweaty, according to reports.

HTC's Android-Packing Hero Handset Now Official
With much fanfare (and a little bit of leakage), HTC has announced Hero, the latest handset running Google's open source Android operating system. The new smartphone won't hit North America until late in 2009, but when it does, it'll enable you to finally watch those Vimeo videos on the go -- that's right, the Hero has built-in support for Adobe Flash.

Digital Rosetta Stone Memory Could Last a Thousand Years
Chances are your memory's not quite what it used to be, and, while computer storage is better than it was, it's still not infallible. The Digital Rosetta Stone, however, is a new experiment by Japanese researchers that uses semiconductors and electron beams to store data for long amounts of time -- just the thing for keeping your Facebook updates around for upwards of 1,000 years.

R.I.P. Netbooks
Netbooks -- the small, inexpensive laptop computers that are all the rage right now -- have taken the computer industry by storm. It seems as though every manufacturer (except Apple) is rushing out its latest iteration of the extremely portable notebooks. Well, Engadget writer and author Michael Gartenberg isn't buying the hype. Check out his reasons why in his new column, Entelligence, where he will be investigating the ins and outs of the ever-changing technology industry.

Wireless Xbox 360 Microphone Ships This Fall for $49.99
Games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero have taken karaoke to the next level by adding singing to the rhythm game mix. It's surprising that it's taken this long, but you'll finally be able to hit the high notes from across the room thanks to this new wireless microphone available for the Xbox 360 dropping for $50 this Fall.
