Most Cursed Video-Game Cover Athletes 11

The game: 'Triple Play '98'
The athlete: Brian Jordan, outfielder, debuted with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1992.
The promise: Jordan was a two-sport star, he played football briefly with the Atlanta Falcons, and then had a breakout year with the Cardinals--hitting 25 home runs and batting over .300. The Atlanta Braves later signed to a contract worth more than $21 million. While Jordan made his debut with a new team, the Triple Play franchise debuted 3-D graphics for the first time.
The letdown: Though Jordan made the all-star team in his first year with the Braves and did well in the playoffs, he had only one hit in the World Series. Jordan's numbers dropped so low the next two years that the Braves traded him.
Where is he now? Jordan works as a pre-game analyst for Atlanta Braves' broadcasts on FSN South and Sportssouth.
