5. Get answers and recommendations

The simplest use for Twitter is crowdsourcing information. Got a question that Google can't handle? Toss your query to the Twitter-reading public. In the market for a new vacuum cleaner? Wondering how much you should spend on a new laptop? Send a tweet asking for advice.

We've used tips from people on Twitter to create music mixes for the gym, get tech support for Firefox, and select books to read. We even offered our own advice for what extensions to install in our favorite Web browser (Firefox), like Blank Canvas E-Mail Signatures , and Ubiquity.
