Proposed Twitter Reality Show Scaring Off Celebrity Twitterers?

Twitter's agreement to appear in a future reality show may cost the microblogging site its most popular celebrity advocate. News of Twitter's partnership with Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment groups was met with instant consternation from the Ashton Kutcher clan, including his wife Demi Moore. Both threatened to take a tweeting time-out, which would surely devastate Kutcher's Twitter-leading, 2 million-strong cult of tweetees.
Kutcher believes the proposed show, which would "put ordinary people on the trail of celebrities," would be a sell-out and would also lead to celebrity stalking. (What, Martha Stewart tweeting wasn't a sufficient sell-out warning?) Twitter co-founder Biz Stone countered with "Twitter's open approach might have the power to transform television." Yeah, but what will we all do without Ashton's enthralling, slice-of-life gems (like, "on lunch break")? We guess we'll have to be content reading White House updates on the new Supreme Court nominee, viewing playoff highlights courtesy of the NBA, and enjoying the comedic tweeting genius of Rainn Wilson, aka The Office's Dwight.
