'Porn Day' Prank Floods YouTube With Adult Videos
The videos were uploaded and attached to seemingly innocent search terms, like "Jonas Brothers." In order to get past YouTube's content filters, the filthy videos were prefaced with about 20-30 seconds of clean content, like a newscast or interview.
Google, which owns YouTube, was quick to pull the offending content, but it took hours for the videos and their offending thumbnails to disappear completely from search results.
According to Ars Technica, many of the pranksters also came from message boards at eBaum's World -- a site specializing in funny and viral videos -- but the site has disavowed any association with the prank.
YouTube is working diligently to erase all traces of Porn Day, but be careful what you (or your kids) search for over the next few days -- you might get an eyeful of something you would have rather not seen. [From: Ars Technica]
Are These Games Too Sexy?
While recent game titles have attracted media attention for nudity and sexual situations, risque role-playing games have existed since PC gaming first began. Early games, such as 'Sex Games' for the Commodore 64, demanded specific commands, such as "remove pants," and required specific sequential actions to achieve one's nefarious goals. Currently, a plethora of games with bawdy scenes have invaded, or graced, the gaming world and vary in degrees of lewdness. Here are a few significant titles with prevalent or graphic bawdiness:
'God of War I & II:'
Press the right buttons, and gently twirl the thumbstick, to see the climax of mini-games in both God of War I and II for PS2 and PSP
'Grand Theft Auto III (consoles)'
The infamous "don't come a knockin'" prostitute scenes created a stir when GTA 3 was originally released for PS2.
'Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude; Box Office or Bust' (for consoles):
These most recent incarnations continue to follow the exploits of love lorn Larry in versions for both PC and next gen consoles
'Leisure Suit Larry 3: Passionate in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals' (for PC)
Released in 1989 for PCs, this third installment of the groundbreaking franchise of risque role playing preceded GTA 4 by 20 years when the title character shows the full Larry in an infamous shower scene
'Mass Effect:'
The backlash from FoxNews greatly exaggerated the tame innuendo and implied relations between the two sapphic lovers in Xbox's Mass Effect.
'Playboy: The Mansion' (consoles):
Disappointingly demure, perhaps the highlight of this sojourn to the mansion is playing photographer in this release for PC, PS2 and Xbox
'Rapelay:'
Amazon removed listings for this disturbing, yet readily available in Japan, DVD-ROM in which the main character stalks and, to put it mildly, torments young girls.
'The Sims;' nude patch:
Denisons of young gamers were disappointed when learning that unblurred nudity in this game for PCs, consoles, and handhelds required downloading a censor patch
'Soul Calibur' (consoles):
The character Taki from the Soul Calibur franchise continues to titillate thousands of pubescent gamers in versions for every console.

I completely agree, they targeted children as their prank, by attaching these videos to the underage population. I think its disgusting, it takes away a certain amount of innocence a child has who had to view that trashola. I think when they get caught they should be charged as pedophiles and under the child endangerment laws. Its one thing to expose adults to that stuff as a prank but when you start messing with children, its not funny. And believe me, i have a sense of humor and do not object to alot of things but i am also a mother and whats ok for adults is not ok for my 8 yr old son.

I find it hilarious that AOL has been taken over by fundies. And even more hilarious that they get upset about /b/ and everything else that they don't get. XD

To be honest, it's noone's fault that the kids have seen all the porn but their parents. If their parents had been taking proper care of their children, and supervising them as they should be, then this wouldn't have happened. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. You are all irresponsible parents, and shame on you for trying to pass the blame off onto others. If you don't want your kids to see naked pictures, keep them off the internet!

I agree. You spoke exactly what was on my mind, and I applaud you.

What the hell is wrong with people? Obviously, in their lives they have absolutely nothing else to do than figure out how to get porn on YouTube? For Christ's sake, go get a job or get outside and away from your computer screen for an hour or two. I am quite sure these were kids who spend 3/4 of their days on their computers, probably overweight due to lack of movement, and who are lazy and filthy and disgusting creatures. To even have something like that make you happy or entertain you is a sad situation, and if that is what they live for, then it is a sorry existence. Go outside and get some fresh air, get together with your friends, READ A BOOK!! To do something like this as a joke is offensive to other people. If we want to watch porn, we'll get our own.

/b/ is going to Hell XD

pj090691 - just wait until you have kids you idiot. The internet is not simply a storage house for you to have material to whack off with you loser. My kids use the internet for legitimate purposes and our computer is in a living area in our house. These morons need to be prosecuted for promotion of indecency to a minor.
pj090691May 26th 2009 2:04PM
There is no "legitimate" use for Youtube. If someone uploading to youtube should have to worry that a child might see his video, then peridicals like hustler and playboy should stop printing because *gasp* a child might see!!!
shadedjade0May 26th 2009 2:03PM
This is kind of dumb. Considering that there are tons of porn site out there. Why must people flood you tube with it. Let you tube cater to those who want to upload anime, music, etc...and porn can stay at their own sites. Everyone has the right to be happy and i think people who believe that putting porn on you tube is ok, are selfish. Children watch you tube. No child should have to view such garbage.
stop the whining popcoolarry and grow up. You tube doesn't need to be polluted with garbage at the expense of others. If you want porn...go to a porn site! DUH

Remember, the internet IS serious business.

You're all so naive. When I was 7 I knew what sex was, and while I didn't know the various specifics, I knew the basics. Stop thinking you are hiding this from your kids, that they are this innocent little flower and that we are hurting them. Maybe if you were open like the rest of the world about sexual life then you wouldn't be so traumatized. The american society has demonized sex to this evil thing that kids can't handle when in fact, they already know about it. It's this same problem that leads to unintended pregnancies since these kids don't know the effects of sex.
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTMay 31st 2009 9:19PM
1) Everyone who is complaining about these videos being accessible to children - do you really think that kids can't find pornography by themselves? If so, you could not be further from the truth.
2) "Endangerment"? Only stereotypical, idiotic Americans would use a word like that - just like "burglarise".
3) As much as I support your efforts, /b/, and as much as you try to appear as a group that should be feared as well as hated, I think you need to take more pride in your work. Blaming your raids on eBaum's may seem full of lulz at the time and causing confusion can help to prolong a raid, wouldn't you guys prefer short, but massive, bursts of public fame (like you got with Project Chanology) to participating in what is essentially just one big, anonymous circle-jerk?

I can't believe Ebaum's World would engage in such abuse of children. I hope they burn in hell. I caught my twelve your old on YouTube masturbating to this filth thanks to them. How do you think rapists are born? They look at porn young. Now I'm afraid not only for my son, but for others because of what he might become.

It was all ebaums world's fault. There were heaps of discussions about it there. Most /b/tards wanted nothing to do with it.
