Well, it looks like June is going to be the month of the smartphone. While we've been busy dishing out the goods on the anticipated iPhone 3.0 and Palm Pre, Nokia has been prepping its new touchscreen N97 for a June 2nd (rumored) release. Expect an old West-style showdown between all comers -- or at least a responsible shootout by our gadget experts here at Switched.

Napster's Back: $5 a Month
You know what we miss most about 1999? Besides our carefree 20th century innocence, it would have to be actual free music Napster. Well, Napster's trying to recapture some of those good 'ol days by taking its monthly subscription price (for unlimited music streaming) down to only $5 and letting you download-to-keep five songs every month.
