I was just wondering if anyone knows if Microsoft wil truly be giving away the 7 OS to those of us who have had to suffer thru learning an entirely complete new OS via Vista?? I legally blind and have been using from Windows 95 on up to 2000 and then my computer just could not go any longer so my brother bought me a new one NOT KNOWING anything about computer OS's other than he wanted a larger screen for me so he got the newest (the clerk at Costcos told him) that was on the market and the largest and said it would take me into the next millenium:) LOL!! It has Vista and since I have much time on my hands I have been able to look around and try various files, etc., but I truly pity the one who absolutely needs it to function like Windows all other OS's, it just is no where near like them nor compatable. So, again, I say we are owed Windows 7 when it comes out FREE and with at least ONE YEAR of tech service once installed over Vista.
I must agree with the person who said previously, if Microsoft would just work on "improving" what they already have they would truly be great. Now I'm tempted to try a Mac. Just thinking about it and going to look into it.
