Microsoft Says iTunes is Too Expensive
It doesn't take a financial planner to tell you that $15 costs less than $30,000, but that's just what Microsoft has hired to make that very point. The company is talking up its monthly Zune Pass, which, like Rhapsody and other music services, offers unlimited music downloads on a subscription basis. Quite a bargain -- until you unsubscribe and lose all your tunes.

Pants Contain Semi-Functional Keyboard
Ergonomics and fashion rarely mix, and, if these USB keyboard pants are any indication, they never will. Still, it's a cool idea -- a hacked keyboard sewn into a pair of pants (the left half even works).

Intel Fined $1.45 Billion

Thought the numerous fines levied against Microsoft for its various antitrust actions were steep? Think again. Microsoft's biggest fine in Europe was €497 million (about $677 million), but Intel has just been hit with a €1.06 billion (about $1.44 billion) fine for employing shady tactics to try to hinder its competition. That's $1.45 billion gone, a tough hit in any economy.

Xbox 360 Motion Camera Nearly Confirmed
There have been rumors and speculation about Microsoft announcing some sort of camera-based motion controller at this year's Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3), the biggest video game get-together of the year. Now, it seems those reports are all but confirmed, with The Wall Street Journal indicating that the device is real. Only a few weeks until this E3 2009...
