Skip the Bells and Whistles, Save Your Cell Battery

All the nifty added features of your phone tax the battery. Get days of extra juice by turning off Bluetooth, turning down the screen brightness, and setting the display to dim after five seconds. Also disable any GPS locator (it will still work for 911), and unselect 'Check for Network Time,' setting it manually instead. And if you're out of signal range, turn the phone off, as it'll burn extra power searching for a cell tower.

So, disable everything that drew me to the device in the first place to make the battery last days. Are there really that many people who don't hook their device up to a charger when they head to bed? I mean, you can't last for days without recharging why should you expect your phone to? In any case my Blackberry pretty much does all the things listed above when I put it in it's holster.
