Our friends over at Engadget obsessively cover everything new in gadgets and consumer electronics, which is why we compile this daily roundup of their top stuff (or, at least, what we think is tops). For more details on any of these stories, click on the Engadget links in each story below.

Virgin Galactic's WhiteKnightTwo In-Flight Video
Speaking of spaceflight, remember Virgin Galactic? Richard Branson's space tourism company is following up its X-prize winning SpaceShipOne with the logically named SpaceShipTwo. This next generation spacecraft is carried up to launch height by a unique (and totally sweet looking) aircraft dubbed WhiteKnightTwo, which was caught flying around the Mojave desert in an exclusive video with Wired. Check it out.

NASA's New E-Nose Can Smell Cancer
When NASA set out to develop an electronic nose to detect air contaminants in the International Space Station, scientists discovered that the device is sensitive enough to sniff out cancer cells in the brain. Bonus!

Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails Is Not Happy With Apple
Nine Inch Nails (NIN) frontman Trent Reznor is understandably upset with Apple; last week, the company rejected an update to the NIN iPhone app on the grounds of objectionable content. The app would have enabled users to stream the song "The Downward Spiral," which contains a number of obscenities. Coincidentally, the very same song is available (uncensored) for purchase on iTunes. Read Reznor's response to Apple's rejection e-mail here, but we're warning you... it's definitely uncensored.

X-rays of Your Favorite Gaming Hardware
If you ever wanted to crack open your favorite game console to see what it looked like, but balked at the potential for voiding your warranty or spilling cola onto the motherboard, then you're in luck. A gaming enthusiast named Reintiji has uploaded a set of x-rayed gadgets to Flickr, and you can bet these devices are as pretty on the inside as they are on the out.
