Ways You Might Be Breaking the Law (With Your Tech)

3. Celling and Driving
Yapping on your mobile while you're sitting in a restaurant or riding on the bus can be annoying, but, in many places, it's downright illegal to do it while you're driving. Five states prohibit holding a phone while driving, but they allow wired or wireless headsets. Ten states take the even-more-logical step of banning text-messaging drivers. Check the Governors' Highway Safety Association for the laws where you live. And, please use common sense -- texting-while-driving is dangerous!

Cellphones and driving can be bad!! you can get hurt by hitting another car or a person. All you have to do is just pull over and text or call OR text or call when there's a red light. Be carefull when you drive with cellphones and good luck:)

Yes doing anything on a cell phone is dangerous I just lost my 22 year old daughter Easter morning due to texting she crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a truck head on died on the spot and it's hard to explain what happened to her 41/2year old son and 2 year old daughter when they ask where's mommy no parent should have to bury their child over something like this if your driving a car thats all you should be doing it only takes seconds for disaster to strike and i know first hand now

that is fine... give people tickets for doing that while driving, but you know what kills me is when you go by and see a police officer doing the same thing going down the road. the rules are not for everyone, just for the little people. that is not fair.... what is good for one should be good for all of us...

"even-more-logical step of banning text-messaging drivers"
HOW ABOUT LEAVING THE LAW THE WAY IT IS????
ITS ALREADY ILLEGAL TO DRIVE RECKLESSLY OR CARELESSLY!!!
THE RESON OF DRVING RECKLESSLY, OR CARELESSLY, is IRRELEVANT!!!
LETS TRY TO KEEP SOME RESPONSIBILITY IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE!!!
DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO WHEN IM DRIVING. AS LONG AS I AM DRIVING SAFELY THEN I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT AT THE SAME TIME.
Period. end of story.
