New 'KissPhone' Allows Long Distance Losers to Lock Lips
In gadget news sure to excite long-distance lovers and virginal nerds, inventor Georges Koussouros has developed a 'KissPhone' mobile device capable of transmitting electronic smooches from one set of virtual lips to another. According to the Daily Mail, the phone features brightly colored, heart-shaped buttons and a pair of lips that measures "pressure, percussion speed, temperature and the 'sucking force' of your mouth," before transmitting those romantic sensations to the lips of another KissPhone. On that companion KissPhone, according to Koussouros's translated Web site, "An artificial mouth on the kissphone receptor can reproduces same parameters." Couldn't have said it better, ourselves. Since Koussouros is French, we're somewhat surprised he didn't include a pulsating, undulating robotic tongue.Millions of boyfriends, worldwide, must now hope their significant others never hear about the KissPhone, as we can't really picture any dudes that would willingly use this lip-adorned, pink and purple abomination, especially in public. Although, it's sure to be a hit with awkward pubescent loners who need a better practice dummy than a pillow or a piece of fruit, the target audience of this phone seems somewhat limited. Unless, Koussouros can also market it to married couples by installing a "nag-on-demand" feature, that is. Don't worry about the idea, Kouss. We'll just be waiting on our royalty checks.
