Snoop Dogg Tweeting With the Ghost of Tupac

To keep everyone abreast of the latest action on Twitter, we turn to Asylum and their nomination for this week's celebrity "Twit of the Week." Frequent twitterer Snoop Dogg dropped a mysterious "twizzle" (or "tweet" for those unfamiliar with Snizzle lizzle) Wednesday for the supposedly deceased rapper Tupac Shakur. Or, it could be for an impostor, if you don't believe Tupac, Biggie, and Elvis are all big pimpin' in their fortress of solitude somewhere.

Mr. Dogg's twizzle in question read, "aint nothing but a gangsta partayyy," and featured a picture of himself standing next to a wax figure of Shakur. It was of course addressed to "2pac," who has been so busy posthumously putting out records that he's only had time for two tweets in two years. Monday was the pot-smoking holiday 4/20, though, so maybe Snoop got a little extra confused while still recovering from frizzled brain cells.

The caustic wit of writer Warren Ellis earned him a close second place (at least in our hearts), thanks to timely and appropriate Earth Day tweets that read: "I was in the garden stabbing the earth with a fork & then I read it was Earth Day & I feel a bit bad now for stabbing it on its special day," and "Have decided that the Earth was in fact asking for it and am going outside to thrash it with a shovel for being a teasing $@#%." Of course, the army of 550,000 followers Oprah has amassed in just a week would probably like to see their daytime get a little credit, but oh, well. Maybe next week, O-heads. [From: Asylum.com]
