9) Get Answers on Your Phone

The cell phone 'lifeline' isn't just for 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' contestants. If you don't have a Web-enabled phone, you can search Google by text. Send "pizza 11021" to number 466453 (GOOGLE), for example, for a list of pizzerias in Brooklyn Heights, NY. Got a bigger question? Try ChaCha by sending a text to 242242 or calling 800-224-2242. Actual humans will research questions like "When is the next iPhone coming out?" and answer in about a minute. (June 9th, they think.)
