Reasons to Quit Facebook

Embarrassing/rude messages on your 'wall
'

It can be disastrous when someone posts an embarrassing or rude message on your wall. Remember, Facebook pages are essentially public, and you never know who might be looking at your profile. We've seen people lose their jobs for photos and status updates, so it's smart to be safe about what you post on your profile. Unfortunately, we can't control what other people post on our Facebook walls, but there is a solution: privacy settings, people. One thing we love about Facebook is its capacity for stout privacy measures. They can be a little intimidating for the average user, but we recommend that you at least make your profile private to anyone except your (seriously) closest friends. That way, only your real, forgiving friends can see what your other, less-discreet friends have to say on your wall.
