Rumor Has It: New iPhone to Have FM Transmitter and Video-Editing

Look, we don't want to get everyone riled up here, but the buzz surrounding the new iPhone is getting louder by the day. We think you may like to know what all the little bees are telling us. According to 9to5Mac and Business Insider, the new iPhone may be equipped with, among other things, an FM radio transmitter and new video-editing software.

With an FM transmitter, iPhone users could manipulate their in-car audio without all the bothersome accessories (cords, attachments, bleh). The iPhone already receives FM transmissions, so users would still be able to receive real-time traffic updates and radio, as well. The video-editing rumor is based upon expectations of a newer, better iPhone video-enabled camera. An 'iMovie'-for-iPhone app is the most likely candidate to fill one of the few chinks in the iPhone's app-armor.

Have fun salivating, all you iPhone groupies. We will throw you whatever scraps we can until Mac's unveiling of the new iPhone, which we hope will happen on June 8 at Apple's 2009 Worldwide Developers Conference. [From: 9to5Mac and The Business Insider]
